That's the problem with guys like you. Just because somebody doesn't kill them for every move them make that means you must love every move they make. Maybe Grabner was getting his ice time cut because of his defensive play?Maybe they didn't feel like he was giving the effort that was needed? I don't know but to say that he just isn't liked by the coach and that's the reason he was demoted is comical.

Who knows what the reason is but to cut the time or threaten to bench a player who is clearly hustling as a motivation factor(if that's the case) is moronic. I could see that being the reason if it was the motivating factor of other lesser contributors on the team but that's not the case. There is clearly an issue btn grabner and the coaching staff it doesn't take a rocket scientist to figure that out. It doesn't seem to be a motivation factor to me bcs at times the guy had an incredible game which was followed by critical comments from Thompson or Capuano. Are we disagreeing on something again?

First off, apparently it was Thompson and Weight who were the one's that wanted Grabs benched so it isn't just Cappy with these oddball decisions. As perplexing as decisions like that are, I doubt they're done without reason. It just drives people nuts in the age of information that there's something they're not privy too.
As for Nino...let's wait. We still don't know that he won't be playing with the Isles this season. Neither party has made any comments about his situation since last year....

From what I saw it was Capuano and Thompson I dis not hear or see anything negative come from weight but that's not to say it didn't happen I just never witnessed it like I did with the other two.

Obviously there were things he was doing that the staff didn't like. You and I can't watch his every move from the couch. I don't think the staff is hard on him just for the fun of it.

By regular clowns you must mean every member of this site. My 11 year old daughter could right more insightful blogs then this by just playing NHL 13 and reviewing her games.

It was Staple who mentioned during the playoffs that Weight and Thompson were actually unhappy with Grabs game one performance.
